Upload your photo on the Tool page, fill in the item details, and click "create item finder image." The current date, time, and day are stamped onto the photo automatically and the labeled image is ready to download within seconds — no software or signup required.
What is an item finder image used for?
An item finder image is a photo with the item name, storage location, and a timestamp overlaid on it. It is commonly used for home inventories, garage and workshop organization, office supply tracking, packing lists, and insurance documentation.
Can I use this tool to label moving boxes or luggage?
Yes. Many people use the generator to create labeled photos of packed boxes or luggage, noting the location (such as "Suitcase – Main compartment") so contents are easy to identify later.
Is there a limit on how many images I can create?
The Free plan allows up to 10 images per month at standard resolution. The Premium plan removes this limit and adds high-resolution downloads — see the Pricing page for details.
How long are my generated images stored?
Generated images are kept on our servers temporarily, typically for 24 hours, to let you download or share them. After that, they are automatically deleted, so we recommend downloading your image right away.
Does the tool work on mobile phones?
Yes. The website and generator are fully responsive and can be used on phones, tablets, and desktop computers. You can even capture a photo directly with your phone camera.
Is my uploaded photo shared with anyone else?
